Many, many congratulations, DOCTOR Irvin! This is indeed good news, and
I wish I had good news to report, but unfortunately at the beginning of
November I was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic colon cancer (a great
surprise to me and my doctors, since I had had an apparently "clean"
colonoscopy only three years ago and had no symptoms). My time since
then has been taken up with tests, surgery, and now chemotherapy.
Things are settling down now and I can get things done on the good days
between chemo treatments.
I agree that we need to make changes in the Consortium and do something
relevant to our mission with the approx. $4000 that is still in our
treasury. Best to all, Barbara
