Do you mean "emote" as in the "KJ waves at Thorleif" kind of thing?
If so the code is a colon like this :waves at Fred would result in "KJ waves
at Fred."
The command to page everybody is "@shout" (without the quotes of course).

1. I remember (from 7 years ago) that you could
make a “sign” in the chat window,
by typing in a special way, but how?

2. Can you “talk” to all logged in, wherever they are?
