Good Afternoon
I noticed an odd display quirk with IE7 in V4 enCore MOOs.
The objects and exits line up in a single column vertically intead of as two
parallel columns.
The same thing happens in FireFox but only after you click on a locked exit.
IE6 does not have this problem.
I first noticed this on my own (now sadly defunct) MOO but I also see it at
TTU and Literary Worlds.
I think I have a fix but I want to make sure this isn't an artifact of my
local system settings.
Please let me know if you see this also.
FWIW...
One fix is to change the code that displays the contents and exits from
SPANs to DIVs.
That is instead of just using two SPANs, one for objects and one for exits,
we use three DIVs.
One to hold the display and one for each of the objects and exits lists.
Then we change the CSS verb on the Generic Room to make the initial
container a DIV "display:table" with the contents and exits as DIV
"display:table-cell".
If you would like to see the code I can send it to you or post it here.
There is probably a better fix but this worked for me.
Ciao
KJ
