It should possible, using a fork() and/or a while() expression. I will 
come up with a recipe and post it to the list. Can't do it right now, 
though. Actually, I tried to come up with some code bits when you first 
posted the request, but failed, and I never got back to doing it 
properly again. But it shouldn't be much work, so I'll try to do it 
anytime soon now. Anyway, this should be generalized into a 
$command_utils:read_timelimit() or something; I will try to do that.
