[Encore] [EnCore] Subscribe & read()

Hey!

I was wondering about two things:

1. I haven't been getting any of the Encore newsletters in a while now... not even my own come back. I think I was somehow removed from the list. Could you resubscribe me, except to the address: jeanofmarc at gmail.com ???

2. About the read() function: is there a way to make it so that it doesn't just sit and wait forever, or at least that there's a time limit? I'm trying to implement a voting system in my enCore, but it has to ask each person one at a time (it can't ask them all at once) and if someone doesn't vote, it will be waiting forever... It would be great if everyone could get asked the question at the same time, and that there's a time limit in case someone's not voting... Is this possible?
