[Encore] Mootcan problem V4

I have confirmed, at least on my new laptop, that this is a Java version
issue.
I tried installing version 5 over the version 6, same problem.
I uninstalled Java 6, rebooted and installed Java 5 update 11.  The applet
works properly.
I then upgraded to Java 6 and it still works.
Java 6 by itself, ie without a previous version 5 install, has the applet
scroll issue.
I checked some of my work computers that recently got the auto update from
Sun and they work OK too.
My new laptop had no Java so got version 6 as the initial Java version.

Greetings

I hope your weekend is going well.

While configuring my shiny new XP laptop I've run into a strange problem
with Mootcan in V4 enCore Moos.

The applet doesn't scroll the output window!

As new output arrives the display stays at the top and the scrollbar
shrinks.

I think this may be related to a recent Java update which I'm going to
unwind and check.

Has anybody else noticed this behaviour?
