[Encore] Object Browser Link and Files

Hi Daniel

I agree about the inheritance issues and thought I would try to figure out a
way to display that but left it as it was at TECFAMOO (sheer laziness on my
part I'm afraid).

As far as that goes the way the display is formatted one can go back up
(down?) the tree through the ancestors and see what properties and verbs are
defined on them.

I have already posted the V4 package as a ZIP file in the Programming
section of the Barn here:
http://www.encore-consortium.org/Barn/files/docs/Ewebbed-enCore-V4.zip

I haven't put the objects themselves up yet.

I'm almost done with the V3 package and then I will see if I can get a V5
one to work. Since V5 will work with WinMOO I don't see why it shouldn't
work the same way.

Remember though that this object uses it's own WEB server running in
parallel with enCore's. It could probably be rewritten to work inside enCore
directly but that looks too much like work to me :-)

Ciao
KJ

It doesn't show inherited properties and their inheritance status. I
find this a very important information on objects. See
http://lingo.uib.no/v5/save.html

That is nice. I have highlighting in greps (see
http://lingo.uib.no/v5/accept.gif) as well as linking to the results,
and in addition to that, markup of the grepped lines. I have considered
doing this for complete verb code, but never came around to doing it. I
have seen the very nice markup that MOO Canada has done.

Why not a v5 package as well? Why not offering this tool for v5?

Please do. Can't find it - have you put it there already?
