[Encore] Firefox Login Problems

Hi Lennie, Kevin and others,

We're well aware of this problem. We do, however, unfortunately not have a
solution (yet).

You should not be afraid to update your Java installation, though. We have
already done so - on PCs where Firefox worked well, and the Java version doesn't
seem to affect anything.

It seems like the problem lies in Gecko somewhere (and somehow), since it didn't
exist (as far as we know) until Firefox 1.5.07.
[ We had witnessed it in one or two installations of the Mozilla web browser
(which is also Gecko-based), though. ]

Our problem, when it comes to identifying what causes the browser to freeze, is
that on some PCs running Firefox 1.5.07 and Java 1.5.0_0x on Windows XP Firefox
works just fine. On others - with (seemingly) the same system setup, it freezes
up....
