Hey,

Where can I find this fix?

Great work on fixing it, I'm surprised this one managed to slip the net
until so late in the day!

Cheers
Matthew

Richard

Excellent work!

I tested it with both Firefox 1.5.0.8 and IE6 and saw no problems, my
one
IE7 mnachine is actually at a clients so I can't get at it just yet.

Please send me a text file with the patch as well as posting it to the
list,
when you are confident that it works, and I will add it to the Barn for
future reference.

Obligatory Barn link follows :-)

A few days ago, Julian Wolfe noted that IE7 was not compatible with
enCore Xpress. That is, the MOOtcan frame did not show up and was not
functional.

After working with the code for the calling web page (java.html) as
stand-aline web page for several days, yesterday I discovered the
source of the problem was that IE7 was not letting the code determine
the size of the available frame window with the same code that was
used for IE6.

Today I have implemented a solution on our MOO, the BC-MOO, which
works in IE7, IE6 and Foirefox 1.5, but in Firebox the focus does not
stay in the text entry area when the web-side is changed by commands.
I do not recall of checking to see this was the behavior in Firefax
before or not. I have just upgraded this afternoon to Firefox
1.5.0.8, and maybe that changed something. Can anyone tell me if that
behavior is usual in Firefox? We are running enCore Xpress 4.0.1.

Please test the BC-MOO out at: http://www.bridgewater.edu:7000/ Let
me and all of us know of your experiences at getting into the BC-MOO
as a guest using all kinds of browsers. Thanks.

If it continues to work, tomorrow I'll post the changes I made to fix
the problem.

Richard
