[Encore] v5 update question

I have a question I need some help with regarding the updating of the TTU MOO.

Is this possible?

I am suggesting to the folks at Texas Tech that they make a copy of 
TTU MOO, run two moos simultaneously, and update one of those 
versions.  Then people can migrate over to the new version gradually 
during the Spring.

What would it take to set up a copy of a currently installed and 
running MOO?  How would you get into the @configure set up on the new 
version? Would you have to telnet in like on an original 
install?  Would it have to be the #2 wizard the did the @configure or 
could any wizard do it?  Since v5 is telnet-free (or can be), could 
you access this @configure file via the web?
